New Washington State Bank is looking for an ENTRY level IT & Security Specialist to support daily technology operations and help maintain secure, reliable systems across our organization. The IT Help Desk and Security Support Specialist provides front line technical support to employees across all locations and assist with fraud prevention and physical security needs. This role ensures timely resolution of technology issues, contributes to data and facility security and supports the overall efficiency and safety of the bank’s operations.

Please note that this is an entry level position and on-site located in Charlestown Indiana.

Responsibilities : Technology Support :

Serve as the primary contact for IT help desk requests, providing prompt and courteous support to employees.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.

Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and applications.

Assist with new employee technology set up, including workstation configuration and onboarding support.

System Maintenance and Administration :

Support regular maintenance updates and patches for operating systems and approved software.

Assist with asset management, including inventory and tracking of hardware and software licenses.

Participate in periodic system testing, upgrades and back up procedures.

Fraud and Security Support :

Help to Review, Implement, and review Fraud Detection Software(s)

Review and Investigate Fraud Cases of all types.

Review Debit Card G / L throughout the month and discuss cases with Deposit Operations Reg. E Dispute Processor

Write up SAR reports of Fraud Cases

Process Counterfeit Money

Update the Bank’s Telephone Alert System

Assist with placing service calls on branch security equipment and ATMs

Education or Equivalent :

Associates degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

1-3 years of experience in IT help desk / technical and security support.
