Klein Landau & Edelman is a top 10 executive search firm focused on the legal market. We are one of the longest standing legal search firms in the DC area, with over 35 years in the business.
We are seeking a full-time, in-person Associate Legal Recruiter to join our DC office. Compensation is commission-based. This role will focus on recruiting attorneys for KLE’s elite law firm clients.

Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant legal or recruiting experience as a legal recruiter, tech industry recruiter or practicing attorney
- Applicants without experience in these fields will not be considered
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment – self-motivated and accountable
- Effective and timely communicator, particularly via phone and email
- Proven track record of taking initiative, solving problems, and delivering results in a remote work environment.
- Ability to establish rapport, relationships and credibility with candidates / clients and work effectively at all levels.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Role & Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the legal market.Source candidates using several platforms to meet client staffing requirements.Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various sourcing and recruiting tools.Make cold and warm calls to prospective clients and candidates.Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with client requirements by screening and interviewing candidates.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all interactions within the Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool.Draft candidate summaries highlighting strengths and relevant work experience for client consideration.Facilitate interviews and scheduling between client and candidate.Manage a demanding schedule including responding to urgent client candidate needs in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned.Commitment To Diversity and Inclusion
