Position Overview (Role) :
The Team Leader at Whataburger-Vibe Restaurants will work closely with Restaurant Managers to ensure all operating procedures are followed. You will also assist with scheduling, training, and supervising team members to guarantee every customer receives a hot, freshly prepared product in a clean, friendly environment.
Essential Job Functions :
Deliver Shift Execution
- Own Shift Operations
- Open / Close Restaurant
- Working manager
- Completes daily checklists & leverages tools for high performing shifts
- Ensures SOPs are being followed
- Effect daily Labor cost, COGS and sales – portioning, waste, labor management
- Monitor daily cash management
- Handle guest interactions
- Leads culture, service model, & core values during each shift
- Drive speed of service and sense of urgency
- Responsible for safety and security during shift

Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. With input, support and approval from the General Manager or Upper Management, responsibilities include screening applicants, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Must be 18 years or olderEducation & Experience : A high school diploma or GED is preferred, or equivalent work experience. At least six months of experience in a retail or restaurant setting is requiredJob Specifications :

Hectic work environment with occasional periods of big workloads. May be required to work evenings, overnights, weekends and / or holidays.
