Associate Attorney - Entry Level (Workers’ Compensation)

Note: This position requires employees to be on site at the Irvine, CA office.

Note: Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 base, with total earnings of $100,000 - $150,000 including bonuses.

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a bright and driven Associate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 2 years of experience. Workers’ compensation experience is not required, but candidates must have a genuine interest in this area of law. The ideal candidate will be confident, a self-starter, and eager to learn and grow within the practice. Key responsibilities include:

• Representing injured workers in workers’ compensation claims
• Managing a caseload with a focus on settlements and litigation
• Drafting motions, petitions, and discovery
• Attending hearings and depositions before the WCAB
• Collaborating with medical and vocational experts
• Communicating effectively with clients and keeping them informed

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in California
• 0–2 years of legal experience preferred
• Strong academic record (transcripts required if no workers' comp experience)
• Interest in pursuing a career in workers' compensation law
• Workers' comp legal assistant experience is a plus
• Confident, self-directed, and eager to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
