WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med / Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Wellsville, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,073 per week for this role.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

3x12 : 7am - 7pm.

Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.

Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

Educates patients on surgical procedures; Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.

Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

Job Requirements :

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Active RN license in the state of New York.

2 years of acute Med / Surg RN experience required.

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

PALS and NIHSS certifications required.
