Reports To : Controller

Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to support our accounting department. This role will primarily assist with accounts payable responsibilities, including 3-way matching, vendor payments, and job cost closings. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of handling multiple tasks with accuracy, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Schedule : Monday through Thursday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Friday, 7 : 00 AM to Noon.

Location : In Office – Matthews NC

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, bills of lading (BOLs), and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Research inconsistencies and follow-up with purchasing department to make sure invoices are timely posted.
• Prepare vendor payments via checks / credit card in a timely manner.
• Post trip reports and inventory data into the Visual ERP system.
• Close jobs once completed and ensure all related costs are recorded accurately.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for accounting documents.
• Assist with general accounting functions and provide support to the accounting team as needed.
