Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is vital in providing exceptional nursing care to residents through the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, outcomes / planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery. The role involves :

• Demonstrating nursing competence in all patient interactions.
• Coordinating and evaluating resident care across all phases, including preventative measures and treatment.
• Assuming the charge nurse role as needed and delegating tasks appropriately.
• Providing the necessary support to assistive personnel to guarantee safe resident care.

The RN follows the standards of the Nurse Practice Act and is guided by ethical considerations set by the American Nurses Association.
