As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help prevent incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $22.26 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeTue03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMWed03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, providing customer service to all individuals at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, maintaining a visible presence as an armed security professional.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific procedures and collaborating with local authorities when required.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with employees, visitors, and / or members of the public at the government location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Must possess an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
