OVERVIEW : Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-Time DC Recycling Support, you will assist in the facility maintenance for our in-house cardboard, plastic, metals and wood pallets, helping to reduce our Distribution Center's carbon footprint. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Determining proper disposal methods
• Separating waste from recyclable materials
• Sorting pallets and ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the facility
• Operating and performing basic maintenance of balers
• Following proper recycling techniques and facility rules / guidelines
• Working towards improving our "Think Green" environment
• Maintaining the cleanliness / organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
