Job descriptionProvide 24-hour continuous call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic cases Manage labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic emergencies Respond to patient admissions and consults as needed Support a nursery and determine when transfer to higher level care is required for mothers or infants Collaborate with hospital staff and follow hospital protocols Maintain high standards of patient safety and care Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required OB GYN background necessary Must be licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity starts on Nov 29, 2025, and lasts for 2 days, providing 24-hour continuous call coverage from 8am to 8am. The assignment involves supporting a hospital with a nursery and the ability to transfer patients requiring a higher level of care.
