Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Counselor to provide support and guidance to students across all grade levels. Responsibilities include :

  • Providing individual and group counseling to support students emotional, social, and academic development
  • Assessing students needs and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans

  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining confidential records in compliance with school policies

Desired qualifications and skills :

  • Relevant counseling certification or licensure appropriate for K-12 schools
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
  • Knowledge of developmental psychology, behavior management techniques, and counseling theories applicable to school-aged children
