Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Press Helper to support day shifts, weekend shifts and night shifts.
In this critical role, you will ensure the efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods in our high-volume flexographic printing facility. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and values safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Stage raw materials and components at production equipment per scheduleSafely unload deliveries and complete receiving inspections, including vehicle condition logsVisually inspect incoming materials; quarantine any damaged or non-conforming items and notify appropriate teamsMaintain a clean, organized staging area; ensure accurate labeling, storage, and material rotationRestock consumables (e.g., cores, pallets, cartons, film) for press crews during productionConduct physical inventory counts; reconcile with system records and adjust roll counts in CERM OSOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and roll-handling equipment safely and efficientlyMove finished products to the appropriate staging or shipping areaComplete all required paperwork and system entries accurately and on timeFollow all safety protocols and PPE requirements, including routine equipment inspectionsAssist with general warehouse and dock upkeep, including sweeping, trash removal, and restockingSupport both local warehouse facilities as neededPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipQualifications
High School Diploma or GED required1–2 years of material handling or warehouse experience (manufacturing / printing experience a plus)Strong teamwork and communication skills—critical in our collaborative environmentHighly organized with strong attention to detailExperience using inventory or ERP systems (CERM OS strongly preferred)Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Excel, Outlook)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout an 8-hour shiftDependable with strong attendance, especially during 2nd shiftPrevious forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hireWork Environment
High-speed printing and packaging production facilityExposure to machinery, inks, adhesives, and moving equipmentLoud environment with potential temperature fluctuationsMandatory use of PPE : gloves, safety glasses, safety-toed bootsEqual Opportunity Employer
