A Brief Overview
Provides a continuum of Audiology services that include the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation and treatment of patients with hearing or communication impairments. May participate in the implementation of the infant hearing screening and assessment program at UHCMC, program development, student preceptor ship and other advanced Audiologists duties.

- Patient evaluation, interpretation of findings, and management (55%).
- Patient treatment (25%).
- Documentation (5%).
- Equipment use and maintenance (5%).
- Advanced Audiologist duties (10%).

Education
Master's Degree in Audiology (Required) andDoctorate Degree in Audiology (Preferred)Work Experience
2+ years Of experience in a medical setting with adult and pediatric patients, hearing aids, OAEs, ENGs, and evoked response audiometry (Required) andCochlear implant experience (Preferred)Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Fundamental knowledge and the ability to apply the principles and practices related to Audiology, appropriate to the developmental / chronological age of patients on caseload. (Required proficiency)Exposure and familiarity with audiometric equipment including audiometers, audiometric booths, immittance bridges, otoacoustic emissions, electronystamograph, auditory evoked responses, VRA, TROCA. (Required proficiency)Licenses and Certifications
Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice Audiology or awaiting Ohio Licensure in status of Licensure Applicant (Required) andMust have Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) (Required) andABA Certification (Preferred)Physical Demands
