• Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance! \n\nSt. Elizabeth Hospital Emergency Department is state verified as a Level 3 trauma center with the ability to stabilize and keep 85% of traumas presenting to the hospital. Additionally, as a Chest Pain Center, the Emergency Department provides the highest level of care for chest pain patients and transfer patients to higher levels of care within our network as needed. Yearly volumes for the Emergency Department are around 7,758 annually and admit nearly 800 patients to our inpatients setting each year. The impact you will make in our faith-based, mission-driven culture will cultivate excellence and achieve professional fulfillment united in humankindness.\n\nAs a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for : \n\n+ Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient / family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.\n\n+ Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.\n\n+ Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.\n\nQualifications : \n\nIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following : \n
• Education Requirements \n\n+ Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement\n\n+ Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred\n\n+ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs\n
• Experience Requirements \n\n+ One year RN Emergency Room experience\n\n+ Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty\n
• Licenses / Certification Requirements \n\n+ RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact\n\n+ BLS, ACLS through AHA\n\n+ ENPC or PALS\n\n+ NIHSS\n\n+ TNCC\n
