Customer Service Specialist at Rainbow Balloons

Rainbow Balloons, a leading wholesale provider in the balloon and balloon accessory sector since 1986, is currently on the lookout for a dedicated Customer Service Specialist. By representing top manufacturers in the industry, we cater to a diverse clientele including mass merchandisers, event decorators, florists, and more. Our continued growth opens the door for an enthusiastic individual to join our customer service team.

Position Overview :

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be a pivotal representative of Rainbow Balloons, managing a variety of service interactions with both accuracy and speed. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass managing account inquiries, order processing, shipment tracking through 3rd Party Logistics, and addressing customer concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Uphold exceptional customer satisfaction by providing stellar sales service.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails, understanding and addressing customers needs while informing them about our product features.
  • Employ effective up-selling techniques to promote additional products and services, enhancing customer satisfaction and boosting company revenue.
  • Process new orders and modify existing ones, while efficiently managing customer accountsboth new and existing.
  • Deliver reliable and high-quality customer service in responding to product inquiries, coordinating orders, and solving problems routinely.
  • Resolve customer concerns, issues, and complaints with utmost professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer and order database.
  • Multitask effectively to meet multiple deadlines in a prompt manner.

Administrative Duties :

  • Oversee and maintain all communication and documentation; including distributing faxes, filing, invoicing, and assisting in various clerical tasks as needed.
  • Manage phone communications answering calls, transferring calls, and addressing customer and sales representative inquiries proficiently.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Ability to handle a high call volume in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills.
  • Proficient time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Dependable and adaptable with a keen attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • High School Diploma / G.E.D required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or order fulfillment roles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Quick learner in mastering new computer programs.
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) strongly preferred.
