Job description

100% ONSITE PLATFORM ENGINEER

NORTH CHICAGO, IL

Local Candidates

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a Platform Engineer you'll support the creation and maintenance of our enterprise platform solutions.
  • Plan, automate and deploy the platforms that support enterprise microservices .
  • Build and maintain secure, efficient CI / CD pipelines and automated testing workflows .
  • Own and support the software packages you manage , with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
  • Monitor and continuously optimize platform health and security .

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, OpenShift or Docker Swarm .
  • 10 years of hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools like JFrog Xray, SonarQube and Red Hat ACS , or similar.
  • Kubestronaut certification PREFERRED.
  • Strong understanding of network, DNS and security fundamentals .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and COMMUNICATION SKILLS .
