Locum Tenens BC / BE EM or FM Physician within an hour of Tulsa, OK

📍 Location : Oklahoma

⏰ Shift : 3 / 12 hour shifts - mostly days (7a-7p, 8a-8p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p & 12p-12a) -  some nights (7p-7a)

📅 Contract Length : 13 weeks

💰 Compensation : $285 / hour (1099)

🖥️ EMR : Cerner

⚠️ Requirements :

OK license, BC / BE Emergency Medicine (will consider BCFM with ED experience)

2 years of experience in EM or Urgent Care

Requires flexible schedule with willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays

PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required

Comfort level with all ages along with both acute and chronic care seeing 2.5-3 patients / hour

Notes :

Double Physician coverage 24 / 7 in main ED

Physician coverage in ED Overflow working alongside independent practicing PAs

ED Shifts currently : 7AM-7PM, 7PM-7AM

ED Overflow hours : 8AM-12PM

In-house, adult and pediatric hospitalists whom place admission orders

Behavioral health clinicians embedded in ED for consultation

MRI on site and available for emergency patients

Primary stroke center with in-house consultants daily 8-5 and tele-med remaining hours

24 / 7 surgery coverage, OB / GYN, and Nephrology coverage with in-patient hemodyalysis

Case management assigned to ED

24 / 7 Ultrasound coverage

ESI trained RNs for triage
