We are looking for a Principal Consultant – Utilities Civil Litigation. This person will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing client relationships, and overseeing complex litigation cases within the utilities sector.We are open to hiring this person for our Washington, DC office, our Marlborough, Massachusetts headquarters, or remotely across the United States.

Responsibilities :

• Provide expert guidance and strategic support to clients in the utility sector facing civil litigation and other legal challenges
• Analyze complex legal issues, develop case strategies, and offer valuable insight to help clients navigate legal proceedings successfully
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to utilities facing civil litigation matters
• Provide oversight, manage and execute deliverables for client engagement projects for utilities and other client types
• Develop and implement effective case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Collaborate with attorneys, legal teams and other experts to help strengthen client deliverables and outcomes
• Provide expert witness testimony and analysis when required
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting utilities litigation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the utilities sector
• Frequently evaluate the performance of existing offerings, recommending adjustments or enhancements to optimize consulting market share
• Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry associations to promote the firm’s services
• Mentor and coach junior consultants, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop professionally

Requirements :

Depending on the level hired, the base salary for this role will typically start at $200,000 plus annual incentive compensation bonus.
