SQL Database Administrator

A company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise-scale SQL Server environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage large-scale SQL Server databases across on-premises and cloud environments, optimizing architectures for performance

Lead performance optimization efforts, including query tuning, indexing, and ensuring high availability through replication and failover clustering

Automate DBA tasks, perform installations and upgrades, and monitor system health and security compliance

Required Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database administration and architecture

Strong expertise in SQL Server 2017 and newer versions

Proven experience with replication, performance tuning, and index management

Solid understanding of OLTP and data warehouse design principles

Experience with Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and AWS RDS
