Job descriptionGraduate of an accredited Nursing school with an active Registered Nurse license in Connecticut Training in de-escalation techniques, with certification obtained within your orientation period Completion of RQI certification within three months of hire Effective communication skills in English (both verbal and written) Basic computer proficiency Ability to act swiftly in emergency situations, including patient restraint when necessary Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient conditions, addressing psychosocial, physical, educational, and cultural factors. Assess and manage pain effectively, utilizing appropriate tools and educational resources for patients and families. Develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on continuous assessment and patient feedback. Administer medications safely, adhering to the seven medication rights and understanding medication management. Ensure patient care optimizes safety and encourages positive patient outcomes. Document nursing processes and care responses promptly and accurately. Exercise critical thinking and organizational skills while managing stressful circumstances. Create and execute teaching plans centered on patients' learning needs, including family involvement when applicable. Practice autonomously while pursuing ongoing personal and professional development. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment through appropriate interventions and feedback from colleagues. Exhibit clinical expertise, empathy, and interpersonal warmth in all interactions. Employ physical and psychological techniques for management of violent situations, consistent with training. Participate in emergency response coding and attendance at refresher trainings. Set and maintain professional boundaries while effectively managing patient interactions. Collaborate with treatment teams to fulfill the comprehensive needs of patients. Provide psychotherapeutic treatment and facilitate therapeutic educational groups.
Hours : 3p-11 : 30p Bonus : $15,000
