Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with airline clients, ensuring the successful delivery of catering and supply chain solutions that meet their operational and quality expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, driving customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that support LSG Sky Chefs' business objectives

Account Management
Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with the assigned account(s) and act as a liaison between the Customer Service Center / kitchen facility, the airline and the Key Account ManagerEnsure accurate billing, provisioning, and inventory management is in line with customer standards.Oversee daily par levels, equipment inventory, and on-time departure of flightsMonitor and ensure compliance with customer specifications and equipment, policies and procedures (Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) etc.) in cooperation with the responsible Quality ManagerMaintain customer specifications and monitor changesCoordinate and participate in all Customer Service Center evaluations by the customer. Distribute evaluation feedback to department Managers and ensure response is provided in a timely mannerMonitor and ensure kitchen facility compliance with the airlines safety expectationsDevelop, document and maintain flight attendant comment and delay databaseSupport the Executive chef in menu presentations as neededParticipate in special customer projectsLeadership
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directedGuide, motivate and develop the subordinate employees within the Human Resources PolicyParticipates in coaching the expanded Global Performance System (GPS) process, as well as additional career development activities to enhance the effectiveness and potential of the teamMake the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)Plan / Implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviationsParticipate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Global Quality Standard (GQS), HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee SafetWhy you'll love this role!

Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred3+ years of experience in account management, operations, or client services, preferably in airline catering, hospitality, or food service industriesProven track record of managing client accounts and delivering high-quality serviceExperience with budgeting, cost control, and process improvement initiativesDemonstrable record of understanding and meeting customer expectationsProven track record of understanding of the drivers of product and labor cost variancesNeeds good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applicationsLSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Women / Minorities / Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities.
