Job Title : Medical Device Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Device Assembler where you will be assembling cauterizing surgical instruments in a cleanroom environment. You will be responsible for reading processes and documentation, ensuring that all tasks are executed with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices on two or more product lines, meeting or exceeding quantity standards.
• Demonstrate understanding of Quality System Policies by referencing and explaining written line procedures.
• Complete and maintain accurate written records of manufacturing operations on production documentation.
• Understand and carry out instructions from supervisors or leads regarding priorities, work schedules, and special assignments.
• Adapt to changes in procedures and learn new processes due to product line and technology modifications.
• Cross-train on a variety of product line operations.
• Assist in training procedures for new assemblers.
• Apply LEAN Manufacturing Principles to improve established metrics.
• Inform lead or supervisor of material shortages proactively.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following good housekeeping and safety guidelines.
• Meet attendance standards and work overtime or varying shifts as needed.
• Use time effectively and constructively, avoiding idle conversation that disrupts others.

Work Environment

This position is within a full cleanroom environment at a medical device company. You will be required to wear protective gear including a hair net, gown, and booties, and adhere to strict cleanliness protocols such as washing hands before entering the cleanroom. Please note that no makeup is allowed in the cleanroom.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.80 - $22.88 / hr.
