Job Title: In-Home Caregiver/ Home Health Aide
Location: Hybrid – Saginaw and Frankenmuth
Service Area: Saginaw County
Reports To: Personal Assistance Manager
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time | Hourly

Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking In-Home Caregivers to join our Personal Assistance team serving clients in Saginaw and Frankenmuth.
Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes or facilities to provide in-home support
• Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming and bathing
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Prepare meals according to diet plans and assist with feeding as needed
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment
• Assist with grocery shopping and errands with or without the client present
• Support safe transfers and positioning within the home
• Provide personal hygiene support and medication reminders
• Assist with exercises as directed
• Respond promptly to client needs and requests
• Protect client rights and ensure privacy, dignity and well-being
• Manage time effectively and prioritize daily tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA license preferred
• Experience working with seniors or in a caregiving role preferred
• Valid Michigan driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation required
• Ability to work independently
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality care

Schedule and Pay

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Flexible scheduling based on client visit times
• Occasional weekend shifts based on client needs
• Pay Rate: $14.00 – $15.25 per hour, based on experience, CNA licensure and certifications
• Pay increase after 6 months of employment
