Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in Anderson, IN. This role involves working one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans, and supporting skill development under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans for children and adolescents in a home setting under the guidance of a BCBA
- Support behavior management strategies, ensuring consistency and adherence to treatment plans
- Assist in creating client materials to support intervention goals
- Communicate daily activities and progress accurately with parents / caregivers
- Maintain accurate data collection and timely documentation of clinical services
- Confidently manage clients with a history of severe aggressive behavior, using appropriate de-escalation and safety strategies
- Remain calm and professional during instances of physically or verbally aggressive behavior
- Maintain a reliable and consistent schedule with families to ensure effective therapy implementation
- Follow BACB ethical guidelines and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Active RBT certification (required)Minimum one year of experience working with children or adolescents with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or related fieldsPrevious experience working with individuals who exhibit aggressive or high-intensity behaviorsTraining or familiarity with crisis management, safety care, or similar behavior intervention protocols is preferredStrong time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalismPassion for helping children and adolescents reach their full potentialAbility to work independently in-home with minimal supervisionCompetencies
