This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

As part of a hardworking team of spacecraft development engineers, you will contribute to the development of the Guidance, Navigation & Control software as Software Engineer I. You will contribute to the code development of flight and simulation software technical baselines, software architecture, GNC algorithm implementation, and interfaces across multiple spacecraft to enable mission closure. You will engage with the cross-program software organizations to ensure spacecraft as-built configurations of hardware and software meets the mission needs. You will support the integrated GN&C subsystem hardware and software through the full lifecycle starting at preliminary system level definition, detailed subsystem design and performance analysis, vehicle assembly, verification, system validation, mission certification, and mission operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Software architecture level design and code development
• Software unit level and integration testing
• Conduct periodic code reviews and support software deployments
• Coordination of interfaces, build schedules, and technical designs with cross-discipline software organization
• Develop automation to improve the productivity of the team resources and drive efficiency into the team operations

CA applicants is $110,623.00 - $154,871.85

CO applicants is $101,405.00 - $141,966.30

WA applicants is $110,623.00 - $154,871.85
