ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Telecommunications Specialist(s), Senior & Journeyman. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

Salary Range: $70-80K

Responsibilities

• Participates in or attends site surveys and documents current site ISP/OSP configurations.
• Assists with designing and optimizing supporting infrastructure in support of the EIP.
• Supports the development of Preliminary and Final Engineering Implementation Plans and project drawings in accordance with Government and industry standards.
• Performs quality checks and supports safe work environments.
• Installs and inspects grounding.
• Contributes input to the production of project deliverables, artifacts, and metrics when required.
• Assists ISP/OSP Engineers or subcontractors.

Requirements

• BS with 4 years related experience OR HS/GED with 8 years of experience
• May be required to work Extended Work Week (EWW) Overtime and weekends may be required
• CompTia Sec+ ce or similar to meet 8570 IAT Level II Certification
• Travel to various sites (estimated at 50%)
