Govini is looking for motivated, curious, and data-driven individuals to join our team as Senior Implementation Engineers. Senior Implementation Engineers have a quantitative mindset and a firm understanding of how to use technology and data to solve client problems. They are responsible for developing new methodologies to answer client questions with Govini's data, leveraging quantitative skills to configure Govini's technology to achieve customer outcomes, communicating data-driven insights to executives in the national security community, and overseeing cross-functional teams to produce compelling program insights, data visualization, and briefings.
You must be analytical, understand people, have a strong drive to use technology to solve hard problems, have business acumen, and want to learn everything, particularly about the pressing national security challenges confronting the nation and how data and machine learning can help address them. You understand the US Government and Defense acquisition processes and the importance of effective program management, supply chain risk management, and program and technology modernization. You ask hard questions and communicate professionally with top government agency officials. You know there are multiple possible answers to hard problems and can engage in constructive dialogue to find the best path forward.
This role is a part-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA. This role requires 75% travel to client sites across the United States – CONUS and OCONUS.
Scope Of Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in Govini's clients, offerings and data, and support customers as a Govini product and data expert
- Execute the successful implementation of software and data to Govini's customers and provide platform training
- Use coding languages (SQL, Python, R) to conduct technical platform configuration and data integration
- Build and manage client relationships
- Lead execution teams and / or workstreams
- Collaborate with Govini Engagement Managers and Product Managers to capture market demand and user needs for inclusion into Govini's offerings
- Proactively drive utilization of the product using targeted training and engagement strategies that drive mission outcomes and analytical insights for platform users
- Develop and maintain documentation such as tailored user guide reference materials
- Conduct research and develop quantitative analytic reports using Govini technology and data
- Orally and visually present data-driven findings in a concise and compelling manner to internal teams, as well as government officials
- Demonstrate knowledge in areas such as US Government programs and operations, federal acquisitions and program management, government procurement practices, supplier assurance, federal contracting, PPBE, Supply Chain Risk Management, and OSINT analysis

U.S. Citizenship is requiredBachelor's Degree in International Relations, Political Science, International Security, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or similar fields, or 3-7 years of equivalent experienceStrong familiarity with SQL, Python, and / or R. Familiarity with other skills such as Excel, React, Typescript, Java, C, GoLang or the ability to quickly learn these skills are desirable3-7 years experience performing national security-related analytics; preference for research, quantitative analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization skillsKnowledge of defense acquisition life cycle and program management, technology scouting, and supply chain risk managementHistory of engaging with and presenting to federal Government stakeholdersExcellent professional demeanor with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone in a fast-paced environmentStrong aptitude for solving open-ended issues in unpredictable, unstructured environmentsOutstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple work-streams and projects, learn quickly, and work independently with little supervisionDesired Skills
