Data Collection : Unit Information : Surgery Location : Heart Hospital of Austin Building : Main Hospital Floor : 1st floor Order Detail : Facility Department Number : 701 Discipline : CVOR CST Target Start Date : ASAP Shift : 4 10-hour shifts per week Call Requirements : On call 1 week night per week and one weekend every 6 weeks Weekends : Weekends are on call rotation General Information Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds - Number of Staff Type of staff : o Day Shift (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) o Night Shift - Patient Ratios 1 : 1 Type of equipment Surgical instruments, bovie cautery, EVH video tower, laparoscopic video tower, surgical tourniquet, IABP console, Impella console, cryo system, patient warming / cooling system EMR Meditech Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y / N) Yes, for CVOR CST and CVOR RN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. CVOR RN experience Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : CABG, Aortic / Mitral Valve Repair / Replacement, AAA Endovascular & Open, AV Fistula creation / revision / thrombectomy, HDC, CAPD, BBT, TAVR, TMVR, MitraClip Best personality Fit : Mature, teamwork-oriented, flexible with schedule, willing to help others, no drama, good attendance, punctuality Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color - Scrubs are provided Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
