Berlin Heart Inc is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in Houston, TX. Reporting to Director of Technical Service, the BMET will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance on life-sustaining medical devices. This position requires meticulous record-keeping and adherence to established procedures for the Technical Service Unit, ensuring compliance with Berlin Heart Quality System, ISO strand and FDA regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited institution.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE :
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong understanding of electronic circuitry and troubleshooting methodologies, coupled with the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams of biomedical instrumentation, including pneumatic systems. Additionally, detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality, the candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, essential for effective collaboration within the technical service team and working closely with other Berlin Heart employees.
EXPERIENCE :
Pr ior experience or internships in biomedical engineering or medical device industry preferred.
