Job Description
Our client is seeking an exceptional Product Review Engineer 4 to serve as the engineering representative on the factory floor transforming design into reality. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a hands-on production environment and can make prompt, informed engineering decisions. You’ll partner closely with production personnel and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure product integrity.
Location : Onsite
Contract Duration : 12 months

Work Schedule : Must be open to all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and occasional weekends
Responsibilities :
Support design reviews and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Design interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis
Develop and validate non-destructive testing procedures and tools
Identify, document, and communicate deviations and corrective actions
Develop and implement process improvements and corrective measures
Participate in on-site repair, modification, and accident investigation teams
Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance
Represent the engineering community during production and post-production phases
Ensure supplier and partner compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards
Perform root cause analysis and develop dispositions for production non-conformances
Apply engineering and design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues across the product lifecycle
Research and resolve technical, operational, and quality issues, ensuring alignment with design intent and safety standards
Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering
5+ years of experience with Engineering Material Review Board (MRB) activities
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited (or equivalent) institution
Proven ability to work hands-on in manufacturing environments and make data-driven engineering decisions
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with functional test requirements
Knowledge of gears, shafts, and gear interactions
Strong understanding of materials and material processing
Proficiency in interpreting GD&T and machined part tolerances
Experience with repair of machined parts and machining limitations
Work Environment
You will be exposed to high noise areas, vapors, and chemical hazards (EHS protection provided), stairs, trip hazards, and confined aircraft environments at various building stages
