Room Attendant
Our Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest comfort in all guest rooms and suites. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the resort's reputation for exceptional service and providing a welcoming, refreshing environment for every guest. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the housekeeping leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, replacing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Maintain all areas to Hyatt's cleanliness and presentation standards
- Restock carts and housekeeping supplies as needed
- Respond to guest requests promptly, courteously, and professionally
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns
- Follow all safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and equipment procedures
- Ensure lost and found items are properly logged and delivered to the appropriate team
- Support colleagues and maintain a positive, collaborative department culture
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks and additional assignments as directed
- Uphold confidentiality and security of all guest information
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping or related hospitality experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to stand, walk, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periodsCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationStrong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervisionReliable, punctual, and committed to high service standardsMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysMust be able to follow verbal and written instructions in EnglishBenefits
