Salary :

The Senior Data Scientist will lead advanced analytics initiatives to support federal IT modernization efforts. This role involves designing and implementing machine learning models, conducting statistical analysis, and translating complex data into actionable insights for mission-critical decision-making.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the development of predictive models and data-driven solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and objectives.
• Communicate findings through visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with federal standards.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and federal stakeholders to define analytics goals, data requirements, and success metrics.

Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models (using specified platforms) to address complex business and operational challenges across federal programs.

Oversee and guide junior data analysts, ensuring alignment with project goals and best practices.

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support evidence-based decision-making.

Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance with federal standards, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST frameworks.

Requirements :

Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.

Proven experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.

Strong understanding of federal data governance and security requirements.

US Citizenship Required.

Teleworking : The company has a hybrid remote policy for all employees and is dependent upon the type of position.This position may be assigned to support a federal contract, or to work in office. The Companys teleworking eligibility may not apply if the employee is supporting a federal services contract. In this instance, the employee may be subject to federal telework policies and may be required to work onsite in the federal facility when requested.

Position Sensitivity and Risk Designation : Moderate Risk

The position may support federal or state contracts. When required, the employee must at least go through a basic background check that can yield a public trust designation to make sure you are reliable, trustworthy, and suitable for the job. Amoderate risk

positionis likely to produce a fair amount of harm or serious damage to the publics trust. The agency with whom the contract is with, will ask you for the necessary personal information to start the background investigation process. The amount of information youll need to give depends on the contract award. Following the investigation, the agency will make their trustworthiness determination.
