As a dedicated and competent Registered Nurse in an Intermediate Care Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients. You will work independently while demonstrating a strong awareness of the clinical setting. Your commitment to patient care will involve both routine and complex situations, with a focus on achieving long-term health goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Exemplify the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for each assigned patient.
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying additional resources as needed.
