About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Innovation & Technology Officer (CITO) to be a key strategic executive leader in driving innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation initiatives. The CITO will be responsible for ensuring that emerging technologies are in line with the organization's goals, overseeing IT operations, and fostering a culture of innovation that contributes to mission success, growth, and competitive advantage. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in IT, innovation, or digital transformation, particularly within a federal contracting, defense, or highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide technology and innovation initiatives, deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, data management, and emerging technologies, and the ability to align technology initiatives with strategic business outcomes.

Key responsibilities for the CITO include developing and executing a forward-looking innovation and technology strategy, advising the executive team on emerging technologies and digital transformation opportunities, and leading cross-functional innovation initiatives. The role also involves overseeing IT systems, cybersecurity, and infrastructure to ensure secure and scalable operations, driving the adoption of advanced technologies, and modernizing enterprise systems in compliance with federal contracting requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 7 years in an executive role. Strong business acumen, excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills are essential, as is experience in managing large-scale budgets, technology investments, and vendor relationships.
