Internal Medicine Physician - Hospitalist

The Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Hospitalist Program is designed to deliver specialized, efficient care to our hospitalized patients. As a hospitalist, you will monitor your patients’ conditions, progress, and test results multiple times a day, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct rounds in the assigned hospital(s) from 7 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. (schedule varies)
• Engage in the hospital call schedule, collaborating with other hospitalists and internists; overnight stays are not typically required
• Effectively manage hospitalized patients and liaise with specialists to ensure seamless care
• Coordinate the safe and efficient transition of follow-up care to outpatient settings alongside PCPs, case managers, and specialists
• Participate in the education of medical students and house staff on a periodic basis
• Involve yourself in hospital committees, initiatives, and Kelsey-Seybold Hospital Service / Internal Medicine Department activities

The salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $387,000 annually for full-time employment. Your actual pay will be determined based on experience, local labor market conditions, and performance metrics.
