Medical Gas Service Technician

Direct Hire | Onsite with Regional Travel (PA, OH, WV)

Oxford Solutions is looking for a hands-on Service Technician to support medical gas systems across healthcare and research facilities. This role includes regional travel (PA, OH, WV), with a company truck and tools provided.

In this role, you'll perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and verification testing on medical gas pumps, compressors, and related equipment. You'll work directly with hospitals, surgery centers, labs, universities, dental offices, wound care centers, veterinary clinics, and other healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and preventive maintenance on medical gas systems, pumps, compressors, and related equipment
• Conduct annual inspections, environmental testing, and construction verifications
• Review blueprints and assist with system certifications
• Ensure systems meet applicable healthcare and safety compliance standards
• Troubleshoot issues on-site and provide guidance on system performance and operational reliability
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings to internal teams
• Travel regionally to client sites as required (PA, OH, WV)

Qualifications

• Experience working with medical gas systems, pumps, and compressor service
• Familiarity with medical gas inspections, verifications, and compliance testing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable traveling regionally; valid driver's license required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
