About the Role :
The Activity Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents at Park Manor South Belt by planning, organizing, and facilitating engaging recreational and social activities. This position focuses on promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being through diverse programs tailored to the interests and abilities of individuals in a healthcare setting. The Activity Assistant collaborates closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure activities are safe, inclusive, and supportive of residents' overall care plans. By fostering a positive and stimulating environment, the Activity Assistant helps residents maintain independence, build social connections, and experience joy in their daily lives. This role requires compassion, creativity, and strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents and the care team in a respectful and professional manner.
