Field Service Technician

A prefabricated building system manufacturer that specializes in electrical substation control buildings and communication shelters is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician that can immediately contribute to increasing capacity within our Logistics Department.

Job Description :

As a Field Service Technician with Modular Connections, your role will consist of handling the on-site setup of our buildings on customer jobsites. You will need to have a working knowledge of welding, electrical, finishing construction, and advanced troubleshooting.

Responsibilities :

Complete final setup of building on customer jobsites

Re-install HVAC and awning systems

Weld multi-wide buildings, connect electrical systems

Ability with various skills such as :

laying flooring, tiling, finishing interior walls

paint touch up

Clean-up after the building is installed and perform additional tasks as instructed by supervisor to include housekeeping and clean-up

Requirements : High school diploma

Valid Drivers License and ability to pass drug screen and background check

Have a good driving record and have the ability to drive company owned or rented vehicles

Minimum of 2 years welding (MIG and stick)

Minimum 2 years blueprint and electrical experience

Willingness to travel out of town, (state) and be gone overnight, (longer if necessary)

Self-sufficient and self-motivated

Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including but not limited to :

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching standing, working on knees and lifting 50lbs

Willing to perform all assigned tasks

Reliable and timely transportation

Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends
