EHS / Safety Engineer

Plant Safety Engineer (Entry Level)Position Summary : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level EHS Engineer to join our safety team. The successful candidate will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety within our plant : -Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and other relevant regulations.-Participate in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training programs.-Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and the development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.-Assist in maintaining safety records, preparing reports, and analyzing safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote and enforce safety standards and practices.-Participate in safety meetings and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in safety performance.-Conduct safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors.-Assist in the implementation of emergency response plans and conduct safety drills. Qualifications : -Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.-Knowledge of safety regulations and standards (, OSHA, ANSI, NFPA).-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.-Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Preferred Qualifications : -Relevant internships or co-op experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.-OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications (, CSP, CIH, SMS).Benefits : -Competitive salary and benefits package.-Opportunities for professional development and career growth.-Supportive and collaborative work , and you must be willing to relocate to area.
