About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage high-volume reconciliations. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of properties, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.

Perform detailed bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.

Process accruals, journal entries, and adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.

Reconcile tenant ledgers, rent rolls, and accounts receivable.

Review and analyze property-level income and expense activity to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgets.

Assist with annual audits, tax returns, and external reporting requirements.

Support property managers and leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management, real estate, hospitality, or service based business.

Strong background in reconciliations (bank, GL, balance sheet).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP Software or Similar.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with property managers and corporate teams.
