Hours/Location: Hours vary depending on assignment. Locations vary within nineteen districts in Stanislaus County as well as the SCOE Alternative Education, Career Education and Special Education sites. SCOE does not provide substitutes for the following districts: Modesto City, Ceres Unified, Oakdale Joint Unified, Roberts Ferry Union, Sylvan Union, Turlock Unified and Waterford Unified.
Requirements: Applicants must hold a valid California Teaching Credential, or a California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, or a Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL) authorizing service as a substitute teacher in Stanislaus County. The Substitute Teaching Permit or Credential must be on file with the Credential Dept. here at Stanislaus County Office of Education.
