Mill Machinist
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mill Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes and support continuous improvement in a modern, climate-controlled facility.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate milling machines to produce precision partsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop machining strategiesSelect appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machiningCollaborate with CNC programmers and engineers to troubleshoot and improve processesMaintain documentation for setups and machining operationsEnsure compliance with safety and quality standardsQualifications
Required :
High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience in milling machine operation and setupProficiency with G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)Preferred :
Experience with multi-axis machining and high-precision componentsFamiliarity with ISO quality standards and lean manufacturing principlesSkills & Competencies
