Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in the Kansas City metropolitan area is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for multiple K-12 positions catering to diverse learning needs. These contract roles will start ASAP and extend through 5 / 22 / 26, supporting students in both resource and self-contained classrooms across a variety of specialized programs.

Available positions (14 total) include :

• Life Skills Teacher (Caruthers Elementary 2 openings; Frances Willard; Silver City)
• Autism Teacher (Douglas Elementary)
• Medically Fragile Teacher (Frances Willard; Silver City)
• Specialized Learning Classroom (SLC) Teacher (Lowell Brune; New Chelsea; Stony Point South; Welborn Elementary; Argentine; Central; Eisenhower)
• Behavior Support Classroom (BSC) Teacher (Arrowhead)
