Job Summary :

Mission Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Culinary inspired driven talent for upscale hospital Cook to join our team in Panorama City, California. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals for doctors, catering, patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with opportunities for growth within our organization.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook meals following established recipes and menu items while adhering to specific dietary restrictions and guidelines
• Ensure all food items are properly prepared, stored, and rotated to maintain freshness and quality
• Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure safety and compliance with health code regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with dietary staff and other kitchen staff to plan and execute meals for patients with special dietary needs
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of food and supplies
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations
• Assist in training and supervising new kitchen staff as needed
• Participate in and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
