Unit Ratio : 1 : 5

Setting : Med / Surg unit, specializing in post-surgical and orthopedic patient care

Orientation : Offered twice monthly

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Experience with post-surgical and orthopedic patients preferred

BLS certification from American Heart Association

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med / Surg patients, including post-surgical and orthopedic cases

Monitor patient status, administer medications, and maintain accurate clinical documentation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on post-surgical recovery and ongoing care

Ensure a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
