Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Valparaiso, Indiana.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PCU

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • 13-week assignment duration starting ASAP
  • Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly (36 hours per week)
  • Maximum of 1 week RTO allowed during assignment
  • Floating to other units required
  • No call requirements
  • Blocked scheduling not available
  • Patient ratio of 5 : 1 in 30-bed unit
  • Required certifications : Indiana RN license, BLS, NIHSS (ACLS required within 6 months of start)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Telemetry skills required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Must live greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
  • Driver's license and permanent home address verification required
  • Provide patient assessment and documentation for telemetry patients
  • Care for patients with heart failure and stroke conditions
  • All required licenses and certifications must be attached to submission
