Job Summary :

We are supporting our client, a large non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, in their search for an experienced Software Architect / Senior Software Engineer. This is a direct hire position, ideal for candidates interested in a hybrid work arrangement located in either Washington, D.C., Columbus, OH office.

In this role, you will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions, with a primary focus on AWS and additional expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a plus. As part of the Foundational & Technology Operations vertical within the Global Technology Services (GTS) division, you will lead cloud automation, security, CI / CD pipelines, Kubernetes management, and DevOps practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, you will drive innovation in cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, security, and seamless deployment of enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• 10+ years of experience in application development / solution architecture .
• Cloud Architecture & Development : Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud solutions, with GCP experience as a plus.
• Infrastructure Automation : Develop and manage infrastructure automation with Terraform, focusing on security and scalability.
• Kubernetes Expertise : Deploy and manage AWS EKS clusters, optimizing performance and scalability.
• CI / CD & DevOps : Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and containerization strategies.
• Security & IAM Management : Work on Org Units, IAM roles, and implement DevSecOps best practices.
• Cloud-Native & Serverless Computing : Utilize AWS serverless frameworks to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Collaboration & Leadership : Work closely with software and AI engineering teams while mentoring junior engineers.
• Legacy Workflow Integration : Manage ArgoCD, Airflow, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Bamboo pipelines.
• Technical Ownership : Act as a tech owner for software products, liaising with stakeholders and presenting cloud solutions.
• Continuous Learning : Stay updated with cloud and AI advancements, driving innovation and modern architecture solutions.
