The Effector RF Design Team at Raytheon is seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ.

The candidate will be responsible for leading and shaping the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and / or radar cross section (RCS) ranges and / or chambers within the company. The selected candidate will also be expected to lead project teams, provide technical oversight, delegate tasks, and work with the Engineering organization to establish technology roadmaps, enable modernization, and contribute to general innovation. In addition, the candidate will work with government personnel and programs, and define and refine requirements to validate range and chamber compliance. The candidate will be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, mentoring, and training to other employees across the business within the candidate’s areas of expertise.

This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

• Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and / or RCS ranges / chambers
• Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements for ranges and / or chambers, including relevant test equipment
• Work with chamber / range equipment and service suppliers
• Oversee implementation of new ranges / chambers

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company’s performance.
