Business Development Associate – Commercial Construction

Location : Houston, TX

Job Type : Full-Time

Salary : $55,000–$65,000 base salary

Total Compensation : $70,000–$90,000+ with performance-based bonus of up to 10% of salart

About the Role :

We're looking for a driven, curious, and relationship-focused Business Development Associate to help grow one of the most respected commercial contractors in Texas. You'll be part of a team that works hard, supports one another, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

This is not a remote role. You'll be on the ground, building real relationships and driving sales activity through events, campaigns, lead generation, and good old-fashioned hustle.

What You'll Do :

• Identify and develop relationships with potential customers and partners
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and project opportunities
• Generate outbound activity through research, email, and phone outreach
• Qualify inbound leads and help accelerate the sales cycle
• Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences
• Communicate the company's value and offerings clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and support campaigns and events
• Track activity and manage leads using CRM and reporting tools
• Assist with presentations, proposals, and quote preparation
• Support fulfillment of marketing materials and project documentation
• Handle other duties as needed in support of the sales and marketing team
