Your Responsibilities Include

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering important diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in partnership with physicians
• Providing education to patients and families about preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively
• Collaborating with various healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure for the state of Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
